Rockefeller Summer Neuroscience Program
Nominating Students

The Summer Neuroscience Program (SNP) brings young men and women to the Rockefeller University for two weeks in August to participate in a course about the brain. Professors and graduate students will offer a challenging and lively class aimed at introducing neuroscience to students.

We seek motivated, mature, and inquisitive students, irrespective of previous scholastic achievement or interest level in science. We’re not necessarily looking for “straight A” students; we’re looking for distinctive, curious students—whether they’re shy or outgoing.

To be eligible, students must be currently in grades 9 - 12, and must be going to school in New York City. Nominated students will be screened and a subset will be contacted by the SNP directors to arrange an interview. Metro passes and food will be provided throughout the program.
